Congratulations to Palestinian Students
Tawjeehi results are out in Palestine. Congratulations to those who passed and better luck to those who didn't make it. It's a stressful exam under ordinary circumstances. Under occupation it's miraculous that anyone makes it.
The two top students are women!! I just thought I'd mention that!
To celebrate, here's one of my favorite anti-Arabic grammar songs...The singer is Leyla Murad, one of the stars of early Egyptian cinema (who also happened to be Jewish). She appears here with Amin al Reehani.

Dumb and Dumber
Farouq al Qadoumi's remarks that Mahmoud Abbas conspired with Sharon to murder Arafat are irresponsible, self-serving, and dumb! The PA's decision to ban al Jazeera which interviewed al Qadoumi is irresponsible, self-serving, and dumber!!
