The Woman Who Unified Iraq
Or at least made some Iraqis happy for a couple of hours. Shada Hassoun, the Iraqi contestant on the talent show Star Academy, won the title. That sent her supporters to the street of Baghdad in an imprompto celebration.

A passion for suturing the wounds of Iraq made sure it won even though she cheated in the last competition: she forgot the lyrics and did not mind using a copy she pulled from her pocket and sang along in front of the jury.
The runner-up was not far behind, a Tunisian, named Marwa--she definitely had the best voice!!!
Hopefully, this more than a symbolic victory for unity in Iraq!!!
