Fashion Statement of the Day
Although a slave to fashion, I absolutely refuse to wear this. But those amongst you who like the "Abu Ghraib Look" may think differently.

This season, fall 2007, have been influenced by the war in Iraq. If you watch the shows on style.com many of the designers voice their opposition to the war, especially those shown in NYC. Vera Wang's fall 2007 was influenced by the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 and the war in Iraq.

I am sure that most of you know about the struggle of Manal and Nour, the mother and child being held in a Israeli prison.

That's good. Since the other influence of war on fashion has been to militarize even kids clothes. I ranted about this before so I'll spare you...
