Gaza is "Abroad"
Israel continues to strengthen its stranglehold on Gaza and to work on separating it from the West Bank. Now Gaza is labeled as "Abroad" and Israelis are required to have a passport to enter it. To appreciate the ramifications of this policy, read Amira Hass's article. As she says, "this is the greatness of the Israeli occupation: It manages to present itself as nonexistent, while its authority reaches all the way to the bedroom."
