"Slim Fit"

"Modest Fit"
Well, we have bikini and we have the burqa and we never thought they could meet. Until now. An Australian Muslim designer invented the "Burqini," which she is marketing as the Muslim bikini. It comes in two styles: "a modest fit" and a "slim fit." So what do the ladies think? Any buyers?

the link didnt work, is this what you meant? http://www.ahiida.com/
Thanks Laila for the link. It is what the video shows. I have no idea why the link wasn't working; I tested it from three computers before I left home and it was working fine. It should be working now. It shows a video clip from the BBC, which you can get to via http://news.bbc.co.uk/
so what do you think?
Thanks, it is working now :)
actually your post prompted me to wrire about them on my blog. I think they are a great idea, modest yet still trendy enough not to look too bizarre on the beach or at the pool.
I am waiting their arrival in the UK :)
Yes, I saw that. For some reason clicking on your name above doesn't get me to your blog.
But do you like the name "burqini"?
how weird...
ah! u ask about the name, hmmm, this was actually the first time I heard it called that, it is a memorable name.. but because in the west burqa has negative 'oppressive' conotations i felt is could end up with people associating it with women oppression. But that is just me being too critical :)
to continue with your critical mode, I would also add that the costume has really nothing to do with "burqa", which is a face covering. So it's irrelevant to the product. Also I think it sounds silly.
