An appeal from the Palestinians in Iraq. (in Arabic)
In the meantime in Gaza, the BBC reports that"Hundreds of Palestinians have rallied outside parliament in Gaza City, urging rival factions to stop violence and restart unity government talks."
To no avail, I should add. The fghting resumed today. But according to al Arabeya, the truce hold, because the latest fighting is between one armed family and Hamas, not between Fateh and Hamas.
Wow. So we now have armed groups, armed militias, armed wings, armed brigades, armed armies, and armed ...FAMILIES!
But no state in sight.

After reading the article attached to your post, I find it very odd that K Rice will speak out loudly about the aide it’s government is handing out when we all know that almost every Palestinian anywhere does not find that (..…) and her dumb president amusing, to me I see that being counter productive for their case, it would have been much more effective to just let him (Abbas) spend the money on the people (I hate to say it, but it would make him very much liked by all) but instead they are talking about it all over the media but no money has yet to make it, hum very interesting, specially when you read into all the comments from the readers.
Just my dime and I’m sharing it
It seems all Rice needs to do to discredit any Arab leader is to say she likes him. Not even that. She can just pose for a photo op next to him and he's a gonner.
