An article in the Lebanese daily Al Safeer (in Arabic) about the mistreatment of foreign maids in Lebaon and the gulf. The writer calls it by its rightful name: Arab racism. The women work in slavery-like conditions, economically and sexually exploited, and even tortured, by people who are "disgusted" by their darker skin and poverty.
The woman in this picture was physically tortured by her Saudi employer.
